Urban Revolt and the National Museum in Warsaw

It is very rare to see artistic works made on paper at an exhibition this big. Due to sensitivity to light, these kinds of media are particularly delicate. From the 27th of October 2017 spectators can contemplate works from the collection of the National Museum in Warsaw, including photograms, photomontages, drawings and prints. Additionally, curators Ewa Skolimowska and Anna Turowicz, enriched the exhibition with periodicals and books which are considered to be one of the best examples of modern design and typography.

Urban Revolt is a chance to see artworks by the well-known representatives of  the first half of 20th century: Leon Chwistek, Tytus Czyżewski, Andrzej Pronaszko, Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz (Witkacy), Henryk Stażewski, Władysław Strzemiński, Marek Włodarski or Henryk Berlewi.
