Living room table, the so-called "klapiak" made in the Empire / Biedermeier transition style around mid-19th century in Western Europe. The structure of the furniture is made of pine wood, pyramidal mahogany veneer with beautiful graining. Under the tabletop, on the sides of a stylized lyre, there are two beautiful, impressive fire-gilded bronzes depicting a rooster's head. The bronzes come from a very good workshop as evidenced by the craftsmanship and quality of gilding. Inside the drawer there is a visible burned-in ebenista's workshop mark in the form of a triple "CFS" monogram (pictured). A piece of furniture made of high quality, with attention to detail, which proves a very good workshop. Height 73 cm, table top 68 x 55 cm, 98 x 55 cm after unfolding the side flaps. The piece of furniture after conservative professional renovation.
