Jan Wyżykowski (born 1956 Warsaw)
He studied painting at the Secondary School of Arts, and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw: diploma in painting 1981 in the studio of Jan Tarasin. After graduation, he started working as an art and theater instructor, and then he was a teacher at the school. At that time, he was busy with paratheatrical activities and started writing plays. At the same time, he painted for 6 years, working every day, he did 2 structural studies, then (based on these studies, according to his color theory) he made synthetic pictures of concavities and convexities, which he presented at 4 exhibitions - 1992 individual exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Art - Ujazdowski Castle, 1993 collective at the CCA "Dokumenty II", 1994 collective at the Center for Contemporary Art in Bucharest, 1994 individual at the "Studio" gallery of the Palace of Culture and Science.
