Eustachy Wasilkowski was a Polish painter, professor of the State Institute of Fine Arts in Poznań. He took part in over 150 exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Most often he created landscapes (Lake in Łagów) and still lives (flowers). He studied in Vienna and Cracow; before the war he worked in Lvov, he was a member of the artistic group "Linia"; from 1936 he went on open-air workshops to Krzemieniec within the framework of the Drawing Holiday Centre. The National Museum in Poznań owns a large collection of his works.
