Małgorzata Kosiec is a Polish painter, she graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the W. Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. She received her diploma with honours in 2000. She received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art in 1997-1998 and was a finalist in Sotheby's International Young Artlink in 2002. In her work, she confronts the human figure; importantly, the spiritual aspect is more important to the artist than the corporeality itself. The artist experiments with a variety of techniques and styles, choosing them appropriately for each subject. She employs treatments such as raster, pixelated breakdown, logotype and stencil aesthetics.
