Sebastian Szostek is a Polish architect and photographer. He graduated in architecture from the Wrocław University of Technology. During his studies, he founded and led a photographic Study Group focusing on combining the qualities of architecture and photography.
The main theme of his work is black and white architectural, urban, and abstract photography, in which he seeks geometry, symmetry, contrasts and minimalism.
The artist has received distinctions and awards in both national and international competitions. He has won, among others, an honorable mention in the IPA International Photo Awards 2023, an honorable mention in Monovisions 2022, first place in Mathematics in Lens 2020, was a finalist in Grand Press Photo 2023 in the Young Poland category and many others. His photographs have taken part in numerous post-competition and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
