Witold Abako (Witold Aureliusz Rakowski) is a Polish painter born in Łódź. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where in 1984 he received his diploma in the studio of Professor Lech Wajda (brother of Andrzej). His works can be found in private and institutional collections in Poland, Germany, the United States, Holland, Denmark, Austria and Japan, among others. From 1993 to 2001 he held the position of Chief Graphic Designer at Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne.
