A beautiful platter made between 1891-1901, in sterling silver, in Germany. The platter is richly decorated with motifs of horns of plenty, ears of grain, fauna and semi-plastic figures of goddesses of fertility and harvest. The platter is quite large, visible on the table; height: 8.5 cm, width: 36.5 x 22.5 cm. Weight: 435 grams. On the side visible the German hallmarks for silver 835, the Austrian import hallmark (used between 1891 and 1901) and the goldsmith's workshop mark in the form of the monogram GD. Preservation condition of over 100 years old silver very good, visible micro scratches, normal signs of use.
