'Barbara' Artistic Glassworks in Polanica-Zdroj | 366

The glassworks was founded around 1955 by Jan Myczka. The plant was initially owned by the spa in Polanica-Zdrój. In the 1970s the glassworks was taken over by the 'Sudety' glassworks and started artistic production under the name 'Barbara' glassworks. Artists such as Zbigniew Horbowy, Czesław Zuber and Lucyna Pijaczewska were associated with the plant. Zbigniew Horbowy was the artistic manager there. The glassworks was privatised in 1992 and closed in 2018.
