Decorating a modern space of an apartment, house or office is quite a challenge. In order to give your interior a unique character it is worth investing in a work of art, which will change its appearance. Complementing empty walls with an abstract painting "with soul" will certainly increase the aesthetic attractiveness of the place. But art not only pleases the eye visually but can also be an inexhaustible source of inspiration. In this publication we present sample visualizations of interiors with abstract paintings by Polish women artists of the Newest Art.

Abstract art, or giving up mimicry

Painting is a type of art in which we can find a variety of more or less formal, or "academic" artistic trends. A style that has existed in the world of art since prehistoric times is known to everyone as abstraction, from Latin abstractio, meaning "detachment". Abstract painting, or non-figurative, is characterized by a lack of elements imitating reality, so it is in a way "detachment" from the real world, immersing instead in a multitude of different types of simplified forms and shapes. Abstraction is often characterized by minimalism - colored spots, lines, geometric figures, or expressive compositions create unique works that perfectly fit into a modern interior.
