Wilhelm Binder (Silberwarenfabrik W. Binder), a silverware factory founded in Schabisch Gmund (Germany) by Wilhelm Binder in 1869. As a result of acquisitions of other smaller plants, the company built a factory employing 300 employees as early as 1898, becoming one of the largest silver producers in Germany. At the beginning of the 20th century, the company begins to create Art Nouveau products, arousing admiration for both its designs and excellent workmanship. In 1937, Binder's company receives a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Paris.
