Agata Bogacka is a polish painter, illustrator and photographer. She creates paintings most often in the technique of acrylic on canvas. She graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2001. In her works she shows her reality, portrays her friends and scenes from life, which she carefully observes. Her art is minimalistic, characterized by thick contours, which surround figures and objects. Bogacka paints about loneliness, isolation, carnality. In her more recent works she departs from figurativism, leaning towards geometric forms.
