Agata Borek is a Polish painter, trained as a landscape architect. She was born and lives in Kraków. There she graduated in landscape architecture from the Cracow University of Technology and completed postgraduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in the painting department. Prior to that, she graduated from a secondary art school in Kraków with a degree in sculpture and exhibition design. She runs her own design studio and has always been interested in art. She is constantly looking for inspiration and knows new painting techniques. Not only that, but she combines different fields of art to create thematically diverse works. I draw inspiration from nature, flora and fauna and the surrounding landscape. She experiments with organic form and with texture, which sometimes emerges on its own from the canvas of her paintings.
