Agata Vera Schiller is a photographer and painter.
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, where she earned her Master of Arts degree in the drawing studio of Professor Joanna Imielska. Postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Interior Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She obtained the degree of Doctor of Art in the field of photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
She lived in Beijing for several years, and was involved in the local art community operating around 798 Art Zone. She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions, at home and abroad, including the Chaoyang Culture Center in Beijing, the Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw and Gallery 42° in Montenegro. In 2014, she published the author's photo-album ‘Flaw’. Her works can be found in private collections around the world.
Portrait photographer with a particular speciality in using Polaroid materials. Professionally, she also photographs interiors and still life. In painting, abstract expressionism is close to her. She is a lecturer in photography. She lives in Warsaw.
