Anastasia Kovaleva is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts (2018). She graduated from the Lyceum of Arts in Mogilev (Belarus), specializing in floral art. For my works I use various materials, especially natural ones: dried plants, flowers, seeds, paper, fabrics. I draw inspiration for my creations directly from nature. The most important part of the creative process is the search for different materials and the possibility of combining them in various combinations. In her paintings, she combines the traditional Japanese technique 'Oshibana' with contemporary collage art. Her work has been awarded several times in Japan, Korea and the United States in the category: floral collage. She has won 2nd place several times at the prestigious International Korea Pressed Flower Contest in Gurye (South Korea), first place at the Philadelphia Flower Show floral painting exhibition, USA in 2020, finalist in the Art Revolution Taipei (A.R.T.) competition in Taiwan and the Etsy Design Award in the United States in 2021.
