Aniela Pająkówna was a Polish painter, the mother of Stanisława Przybyszewska. Thanks to the employers of her father, a stableman, she pursued her artistic studies in Cracow and Paris. In the French capital she studied at the Académie Julian and the Académie Colarossi. Later she also studied in Munich. Since 1891 she had her own studio in Lviv. In 1886 she debuted at an exhibition of the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Lviv. She presented her works both in Poland and abroad: at the first exhibition of the Association of Polish Women Artists in Sukiennice in 1899, in Künstlerhaus in Vienna (1897), in Paris at the Salon of Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, and from 1909 at the Salon des Indépendants. She died in Paris of pneumonia.
