Jan Gotard was a Polish painter, graphic artist and member of the Brotherhood of St. Luke. He studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts under Tadeusz Pruszkowski and Władysław Skoczylas. The main theme of Gotard's compositions was portraiture.
