Jan Pieter Brueghel was a Flemish painter who specialized in flower still lifes. He studied in the family workshop and in 1645 he joined the Antwerp guild of St. Łukasz as "wijnmeester", that is, the master's son. He stayed in Liège for a while, where he worked in the Walther Damera workshop. His style was influenced by his grandfather Jan Brueghel the Elder and Jan Davidsz de Heem.
