Jerzy Ryszard Zieliński was a Polish painter, poet and author of happenings. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he graduated in 1968 (in the atelier of Jan Cybis). His work was inspired by pop art and Art Nouveau. Together with Jan Dobkowski, he created the Neo-Neo-Neo Group, active between 1965-70. Within the group, the artists parodied the pompous artistic manifestos of the avant-garde artists of their time. Jurry died tragically at the age of 37.
