Joanna Czerwińska, pseudonym Merkuria, is a visual artist and award-winning illustrator, a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (2016), creates in two-dimensional space based on the technique of printmaking and drawing. She is the winner of the second edition of the 'Trzy/Mam/Książki' competition organized by the Book Institute with the 'First Pictures' series published in 2018 by the publishing house Dwa Siostry. Her works have been exhibited in Seattle (WA), New York (NY), Wroclaw, Krakow, Gdansk, and Warsaw, among others.
