Joanna Galecka is a Polish painter, illustrator, and author of woodcuts. In the early 90s, she received diplomas at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. She is the author of such thematic cycles as "Felicia's Land" or "By the Red Water". Gałecka received scholarships from the T. Kulisiewicz Foundation and the John Paul II Foundation in Rome. She has been awarded, among others, the Grand Prix several times and honored in the "Best Graphic of the Month" and "Small Format" competitions.
