Joanna Kania, was born in 1981 in Cairo. An alumna of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She obtained her Master’s degree diploma in the Painting Studio of Professor Marian Czapla and in the Workshop of Artistic Fabric supervised by Professor Dorota Grynczel in 2009. In 2013, she received the Award of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship at the International Weaving Miniature Triennial in Gdynia. After graduation she has participated in many exhibitions in the country and abroad. Member of archaeological and conservation missions in Egypt (2017-2019). In the 2016-2017 period, she worked in London as an assistant stage designer for performing arts. Since 2019, she works as an art education instructor. She deals with artistic work, painting, computer graphics and artistic fabric. In 2020, she took part in the international art exhibition Art in the Time of Plague and Attempt 2020 at the Jan Tarasin Art Gallery in Kalisz.
