Kinia Kik (Kinga Chrzaszczewska) has been based in London and the South of England since 1995, and more recently has also been creating in Poland, constantly travelling between the two countries. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Westmister in London with a BA Hons of Mixed Media Fine Art. The artist loves to play with texture and space, which she captures through collages, film and animated miniatures and sculptures. She has been sharing her knowledge and perception of the world for many years, running art workshops for children and adults. She has been an art teacher at the British School in Warsaw, as well as in schools in the UK. Her studio is her sanctuary, her most favourite place where she feels safe and empowered. She is always looking for new forms of self-expression, so she experiments with many means of expression.
