Otto Prutscher was an Austrian architect who created art in the spirit of secession and modernism. In its oeuvre, in addition to more than 50 designed buildings, there are furniture, glass products and interior designs. The artist studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under Josef Hoffmann and Franz Matsch. Otto Prutscher's works were produced by over 200 companies, including Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna Workshop), Backhausen and Augarten.
