Paulina Zalewska is a Polish graphic artist. She defended her diploma at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, in the Workshop Graphics Studio of Prof. Krzysztof Wawrzyniak. She made an annex to her diploma under the supervision of Prof. Ryszard Hunger in the Painting Studio. Furthermore, she is a finalist of the 43rd Painting Biennale ,,Bielska Jesień'' 2017 in Bielsko-Biała. She paints most often using acrylic paints and canvas. Her works reflect an extremely rich imagination, creating a world of contrasting emotions and associations. With colours contrasting with the work as a whole, she highlights elements that might escape the viewer's attention. She forces one to contemplate the details and encourages one to get lost in a fairy tale.
