Piotr Gil currently lives and works in Wrocław. Musician, painter and photographer. He started his adventure with music as a double bass and bass player in the alt-pop band Kołdra, but it was painting that became a form of therapy for him in his fight against depression. His paintings, done with acrylic paints, exude life and energetic expression, in which he uses colourful patches and distinctive black lines. The subjects of his works are usually abstract portraits and one line art. His previous experience as a draughtsman has influenced his technique and artistic imagination, giving him a unique style. His works reflect a constant search for new forms of expression and inspiration, and at the same time form an important part of his healing and self-realisation process. As an artist, Piotr Gil continues to explore himself and the world in an unusual way, combining different fields of art into a harmonious whole.
