Piotr Kiełbiński is a young Polish artist. He is the grandson of Czesław Kiełbiński, a painter and sculptor associated with Stanisław Szukalski's “Horned Heart” group. He obtained higher education at the K. Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków and the K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. He creates paintings maintained in the spirit of surrealism and magic realism, using mainly acrylic technique. His works present a world built from motifs of time and passing, constructions based on elements of the human body and fantastic figures resembling absolute entities.
