Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Faculty of Graphic Arts, currently training at the Dieter Roth Academy in Seydisfjordur, Iceland. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, winner of many important awards. Finalist of the Hestia Artistic Journey competition in 2015. Piotr Kołakowski has taken part in both group and individual exhibitions, organized in institutions and galleries such as the Centre for Contemporary Art CCA Torun, Propaganda Gallery in Warsaw, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and West Wall Gallery - Skaftfell Visual Art Center in Seydisfjordur.
