Zofia Anna Misiak is a Polish painter, born into an artistic family. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and L'Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris. She studied under the supervision of J. Alesiński (painting) and A. Hadad (lithography). She produces easel oil paintings, tempera, drawing, lithography, collage, painting on glass and wood, and creates spatial forms. Her works have been presented at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Misiak is also a winner of prestigious awards and honors, she received, among others, the Silver Medal - Petit Palais (1986) and the Silver Medal of 2006 for her work at the Festival in Palermo.
Her works are held in the collections of state institutions in the country and in private collections in Poland and abroad. The artist is a member of the Association of European Culture "SEC" based in Venice.
