Zygmunt Ajdukiewicz was a Polish painter, cousin of another painter Tadeusz Ajdukiewicz. He started his artistic education at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow. Then, in the years 1880-1882, he studied at the Academy in Vienna and later moved to Munich. He created genre scenes, historical paintings and was a court painter. He illustrated "Potop" by Henryk Sienkiewicz. In 1891, he won the gold medal at the exhibition in Vienna.
