Extremely magnificent set of cutlery for 12 persons made in the 1930s in the neo-Rococo style of very high sterling silver by Bruckmann & Sohne/Heilbronn - Germany. The silver pieces number 171 with a total weight of 7980 grams. The cutlery is housed in the original wooden canteen with drawers dedicated to this set. There are 13 different pieces of cutlery for each feaster (156 pieces in total), who are provided with an additional 15 elegant, practical cutlery / table centre pieces. The table centre cutlery is large, very presentable and in this quantity sufficient to serve all dishes. The set for the banqueters includes respectively: 12 spoons, 12 knives, 12 forks for the main course, 12 forks + 12 knives for fish, 12 forks + 12 knives + 12 starter spoons, 12 tea/coffee spoons, 12 mocha spoons,12 dessert spoons, 12 cake forks, 12 fruit knives. All five cutlery drawers are visible in the photos. In addition, one of the photos shows the cutlery for one person with 13 pieces and an additional photo showing the 15 table centre pieces. Each of the cutlery bears the maker's mark BRUCKMANN STERLING SILVER (925 silver) and on some of the ladles there is an additional maker's mark in the form of a spread eagle. The overall state of preservation of the entire set is very good, there are minor traces of use, no damage, rather small micro-scratches, the blades of the stainless steel knives appear to be new, they have never been sharpened since new.
