A set of starter silverware made in the Parisian goldsmith's workshop of Francois Dominique Naudin (department 1800 - 1840) between 1819 and 1838. The set comprises: 12 forks 17.5 cm long, 12 spoons 18 cm long. The spoons have scoops with sharpened rims, which also served as knives. The cutlery all originally gilded. Each piece bears the Paris hallmark for top-quality 950 silver used between 1819-1838 (Hippocrates1) and the goldsmith's workshop mark in the form of a triple monogram with a carnation flower symbol. The cutlery is thick-walled, heavy, total weight 1160 grams. Each of the handles is engraved with the coat of arms of the noble Lubomirski family of Szreniawa Coat of Arms, with the heraldic motto Patriam Versus (Turned towards the Homeland), attributed to the dukes of Lubomirski of Szreniawa Coat of Arms. The starter cutlery is also ideal as dessert cutlery for cakes and fruit. Sterling silver in preserved original case.
