A necklace in the style of belle epoque made of a combination of 750 gold (18 carat) and natural amethysts at the beginning of the 20th century. A string of 35 amethysts alternately connected with 34 gold "balls" topped with a clasp. The central decoration is a large, visible amethyst with dimensions of 22 x 18 mm, the amethyst is embedded in a golden, very effective frame. Clasp with the so-called The "drawer" is additionally secured with a lock that does not allow for easy removal. In three places on the gold there are import marks (an owl mark) for gold of 750 fineness of the city of Paris (the mark has been used since 1893). A 39 cm long necklace designed for high exposure.
