Pastel / watercolor on painting paper made by an unrecognized author at the beginning of the 19th century. It shows the Polish Imperial Guard Lancer posing on a horse with a Polish banner. In the lower left corner the artist's handwritten signature. Thick paper (cardboard), Viennese passe-patoua hand-painted with two surrounding stripes. General condition very good! Original work from the Empire era, an undoubted treat for lovers of Polish history, the heyday of the Duchy of Warsaw.
