Collector's salt bowl made in 1894 from silver of the fineness of 84 in the Moscow goldsmith's workshop of В. Akimov. A profiled coat with a step, decorated with engraved, geometric motifs typical of Russian art. The salt basin inside is originally very thick gilded! Quite large silver; belly diameter 6 cm, height 3.2 cm, weight 57 grams. On the bottom, there is a hallmark for Moscow silverware of fineness 84 with the date 1894 and a goldsmith's workshop mark in the form of a rectangle inscribed monogram "ВА" - В. Aкимов, operating from the second half of the nineteenth century to 1908. General condition perfect !!
