Medallion made in France circa 1900 in 750 gold, a relief image of a young Madonna in a shawl with a surrounding nimbus set with 20 pieces of natural diamonds. The image itself is polished, the background of the figure satin, creating a beautiful composition of three-dimensionality, the diamonds reserved only for the most exclusive wares of its era. The medallion is large, very conspicuous; diameter measured without the chain ear 33 mm, weight 9.90 grams, on the ear the hallmarks are visible. Preservation condition very good, minor scratches, natural traces of the patina of time.
