Description
Gienadij Pitsko (born 1970)
Genadij Pitsko was born in 1970 in Belarus. He lives and creates there. He graduated from Bobrujska Art at the Faculty of Ceramics. His painting is characteristic and recognizable by the colors creating a special atmosphere and mood evoking 19th-century painters, as an echo of the fascination with both the epoch itself and French painters of that period, among them: Edgar Degas, Claude'e Monet, Amadeo Modigliani, Henri deToulouse -Lautrec. The main subject of his paintings are women, as if "taken" from another era; women thoughtful, in love, ironic, maybe a little provocative and imperious, self-confident, but therefore attractive and attractive, focusing not only on men's eyes.
The artist has participated in many national and international exhibitions, both individual and collective:
1992 - the first individual exhibition at the "October" cinema in Grodno, Belarus
1997 - exhibition in Sopot at the gallery "The Streets of Gdańsk", Poland
1998 - "Vdohnovenie" exhibition at the Tyzengauz gallery, Belarus
1999 - "Cityscape" exhibition
2001 - "Vdohnovenie" exhibition at the Tyzengauz gallery, Belarus
