A wonderful, large teapot made in the Warsaw workshop of Karol Flip Malcz in sterling silver circa 1860. On a knocked down foot a large body with a distinctively vertically knocked down mantle, the hinged lid knocked down similarly. The handle on the lid and the handle are wooden. The interior is entirely original, thickly gilded! At the bottom one can see the hallmark for Warsaw silver of the '84' quality, the goldsmith's workshop mark in italic Malcz with the symbol of an anchor. On the rim of the lid is an additional auxiliary feature. Height 18 cm, width 28 cm, thick-walled, heavy silver, weight 843 grams.
