Aleksander Jędrzejewski was a Polish painter, stage designer and member of the Brotherhood of St.  Luke. He worked as a professor at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Wrocław. One of his favourite subjects for compositions was landscape. They are painted in quick, broad brushstrokes.
