Antoni Jezierski was a Polish painter, a member of the "Munich school". He was educated at the School of Fine Arts in Lviv, the School of Fine Arts in Kraków and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. In Jezierski's painting style we can notice the influence of Jan Matejko and Young Poland motifs. He created religious paintings, portraits, genre scenes, and at the beginning of his artistic path - canvases on historical subjects. After 1905, he settled permanently in Kolomyia (a town in Ukraine).
