Franciszek Teodor Ejsmond was a Polish painter, director of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. He was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and then (1879-1886) at the Academy in Munich. In his works he referred to Dutch and Munich painting. He presented sentimental genre scenes from the life of peasant families and hunting, landscapes. He also painted portraits and still lives. One of his sons, Stanislaw, was also a painter.
