Guadalupe Maravilla is a transdisciplinary visual artist, performer, sculptor, choreographer and healer. His art focuses on his emigration from El Salvador to the U.S. in the first half of the 1980s. Maravilla's work incorporates both indigenous and contemporary knowledge. He combines crafts, medicinal plants along with commercial objects. He is inspired by the history of colonialism and the refugee experience.
