Henryk Rachfalski was a Polish figurative painter, co-founder of the "XIV Group," and pedagogue. He graduated from painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. The most famous motif in his paintings is human's old age. Rachfalski was able to depict its tragism and ridiculousness, at the same time. He created mostly large-format art, rich in colors and meanings.
