Jagoda Piekarska is a hard-edged artist. She is a designer, painter and founder of the brand NOTRACE, which will launch this year with environmentally-friendly footwear designed to leave a good mark (the brand is currently in the process of changing its operations). Painting became a significant part of her life when she stepped into the role of mum. Within the creative themes, important issues of our everyday life emerge - the human body as an element of expression today. In her most recent, as yet unpublished works, she combines the issue of responsible fashion with painting. She works in collage and acrylic painting.
She graduated in 2008 with honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź at the Faculty of Textile and Fashion. For many years until 2021, she collaborated with numerous Polish fashion brands as the main designer of clothing and accessories.
As she became increasingly aware of climate change and felt the futility of designing yet another mass quantity of clothes, in 2019 she decided to start freelancing, creating her own brand and at the same time returning to painting, which has been her passion since a young age.
