Janusz Hućko graduated from the Rzeszów University of Technology with an MA thesis under Prof. Wnuk. Drawings and sketches were present in his works from an early age, probably under the influence of the TV programme "With pen and ink", whose author and host was Professor Wiktor Zin, whereas he took up painting as an adult. He practises oil easel painting oriented towards surrealism, thus seeking a continuous path of self-expression. Zdzisław Beksiński's exhibition in the Sanok museum proved to be a breakthrough. Since then, a surrealistic perception of the world has become apparent in the artist's works, and his painting is a reflection of visions that often appear, overlapping a narrative perception of reality. His painting is a constant process of development, where he increasingly hides his own world behind a curtain of applied paints. Hućko is constantly improving his painting technique, and in October 2022 he began postgraduate studies at the Łukaszewski University in Warsaw in the field of Painting and Art History. His paintings can be found in private collections. The artist is proud to have participated in an exhibition of works at the SztuKeks Art Fair in Szczecin in April and September 2022.
