Józef Chełmoński was a Polish painter, a leading representative of naturalism. He first studied at Wojciech Gerson's Private School and later at the Munich Academy. His landscapes are full of naturalism and moodiness. His most famous paintings include "Babie Lato" (Indian's Summer), "Partridges in the Snow" and "Czwórka" (Four). Chełmoński's works adorn the most important galleries in Poland, they can also be found in European and American private collections.
