Karolina Jabłońska is a Polish painter, she received her higher education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, graduating in the atelier of Professor Leszek Misiak. She is the winner of the 2nd prize of the Bielska Jesień painting biennale (2017) and the Lower Silesian Capital Club prize in the 12th Geppert Competition (2016). Her work has been exhibited at the Turner Gallery in Los Angeles or the Fern Residency in Brussels. One of Jabłońska's characteristic motifs is self-portraits - the artist appears on her canvases covered in mud or without a tooth. As the artist reveals, she composed her colour palette under the influence of David Lynch's films.
