Konrad Antoni Ziółkowski is an artist working in contemporary sculpture and multimedia. He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. He defended his diploma in the sculpture studio of Professor Zbigniew Makarewicz. During his studies, he was a member of the unofficial 'El Nino' art group. The artist has always been fascinated by the human body as an infinitely inspiring form in terms of emotion and gesture. Ziolkowski tries to find a synthesis and interpretation of forms; he is not interested in the real detail, but in the whole composition of solids and colour. He tries to create relationships and integrations. He does not close himself to classical sculpture, but is constantly looking for different solutions.
