Konstanty Laszczka was a Polish sculptor, painter, graphic artist, educator and rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He studied in France at the Julian Academy and the École des Beaux-Arts, among others. In his work he was inspired by the sculptures of August Rodin. In addition to sculptures and paintings, he also created medals, portrait medallions and commemorative plaques. He enjoyed working with ceramics.
