Ludwik Nast I was a Warsaw goldsmith active in the years 1830-1854. After his death, the workshop and warehouse of silver products was taken over by his wife Julia and shortly after by his son Ludwik II, after obtaining the master's title. The company ceased operations in 1887. Nast's products can be recognized by the trademark, the image of a snake eating its own tail.
